South End Wedding Shoot...Brazilian Love in the Air with Binita Patel

I saw this wedding shoot from Binita Patel a few weeks ago and it made me wish I could pack her in my suitcase when I head to Brazil for my next wedding. She is, as always, amazing...just look at the light in the faces of this couple; that is what she captures but I digress.

Karina and Kaio, both of Brazil - a place so near and dear to my heart, make a stunning, stunning pair in this quickie South End wedding shoot by Binita Patel Photography.  Seriously, can you get any more beautiful or real than this?  The super talented Michelle DeVoe of Demiche did an amazing job with Karina's hair and makeup...as Binita said, "Not that Karina really needed it." Michelle is yet another amazing talent I'd love to stick in my suitcase. I wanted to share this shoot with you...well...quite simply cause THIS is how good wedding photography should be done.  And well, this couple just struck my heart.  And the South End architecture looks like that of Laguna, Santa Catarina where I will be getting married.  And that is really all there is to it! Just had to be done. :)

{Real Wedding} Dias Photo Fabulousness

One of the great things about working in this business is all the amazing people, vendors, crafters, artists, bloggers (FP <3) I get to meet.  Edson Dias over at Dias Photo is one such person. I met him and his lovely wife at a Beantown Bride event here in Boston and we seem to hit it off. He has a great eye, out of the box attitude, and a kickin' sense of style. The fact that he speaks some Portuguese doesn't hurt either.

Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with him, putting together several Real Wedding posts for his blog. What a pleasure and an honor to be able to pour over these photos and choose the very best of the best to be featured. I cry at every single one of them cause I am old softy at heart...and I am wedding obsessed, so I guess it makes sense. Go figure.

For us here at Dias Photo, this is one of those wedding that just steals your heart; this couple is sweet and fun loving, we are just so happy for them and their wonderful families. It is a true ‘boy meets girl and the rest they say is history’ sort of story – from meeting in high school, to finally going on a first date in college, to the unexpected proposal by the reflecting pool at the Prudential Center, to a whirlwind wedding celebration full of personal touches, favorite dishes, and lots of family and friends.
